So we went 3 weeks late but the doctor said everything looked great and he was a very healthy baby boy. He is holding steady at his weigh he weighed in at 17 lbs and 9 ounces (this was taken with his diaper on) and his length was 26 1/2 inches. He is in the 49th percentile for weight and He has only gained 1 pound and 2 ounces since his 4 month check up. But the doctor said this was completely normal especially for breast fed babies. I can really tell Landry has thinned out lately. There for a while he was a little chunker but all of a sudden he started thinning out- I think it's from all the leg exercises he does while in his bouncy seat. He will sit in that bouncy seat and watch baby einstein or play with a toy and kick his left leg like crazy!! My dad says he is starting his motorcycle b/c that is really what it looks like. :)
He is getting more and more fun to play with every day! Even Sadie has really taken up with him more lately. She will bring him a toy and sit it at his feet while he is sitting up playing and bark at him. Landry thinks this is hilarious and giggles at her but Sadie just can't figure out why he wont throw her toy. Even though Sadie has taken up with him she still knows to keep her distance from him b/c Landry can get a strong grip on her hair and won't let go. Poor Sadie- she is a really good sport- we are very lucky to have a very loving dog that is good to Landry b/c he is not the most gentle by any means! Here are a few picture of Landry loving on Sadie that I thought were cute. By the way Uncle Nathan gave Landry this outfit to him the day we found out he was a boy. And the irony of this shirt is about 5 minutes after I put it on him this day he really did "load up his diaper." haha!
Landry has always loved music ever since he was a newborn. Whenever he would be upset or fussy as soon as we turned on some music or began singing to him he would instantly calm down. For about 3 months now his new favorite thing to do is to sing and yes I really mean sing. It all started with a bunny that sings "Jesus loves me." Now when we are sitting in church he will bust out singing (well you know in his own words). It is the sweetest thing ever and make me and my heart smile every single time! Sunday night we began singing and we had a friend lean up and whisper in our ear "I really think he likes to sing!" That is how noticeable it is what he is doing! We had to end up putting to pacifier in his mouth b/c even though the congregation was done with the song Landry wasn't so we had to quite him down. I hated to do this b/c I love to hear his precious voice but I didn't want to distract anyone around us.
Just a few things Landry is doing now that I will want to remember:(Sorry if this is boring I just want to record some not so eventful things!)
Laughing so hard at his daddy- he really thinks Austin is funny!
Sitting up unsupported
Kicking his left leg like crazy when in his bouncy seat or when in the bath tub(starting his motorcycle)
Loves bath time
Loves watching Sadie/Bentleigh and Abby- I think he will be a dog lover
Chewing on all his fingers- he does not have a favorite
Keeps his thumbs tucked in 90% of the time
Loves playing with his feet
Very good eater- so far we have tried carrots/green beans/sweet peas/sweet potatoes and rice cereal. We haven't found anything he won't eat yet.
We just began trying to teach him baby sign language and as soon as we ask him if he want a bite and we do the motion for it he opens his mouth like a little baby bird.

Loves to watch traffic
We actually made it through Sunday morning church AND class and Sunday night service for the first time ever this week! YAY!!
Starting to reach for people when they hold their hands out but will sometimes turn away from them and smile
Will smile and turn away from people like he is shy
Beginning to cry out when I leave the room
After a cough or sneeze he will sometimes say "aaaahhhh" as if it was such hard work- this is absolutely precious and one of my many favorite things he does! If you have heard it you can't forget it b/c it so adorable!
Loves to see different people and places sights and sounds
Loves to play with his toys- some days are better than others with him entertaining himself.
Takes 40 min-1.5 hour naps in his crib
Loves apple juice- we just started that this week to help us get through a church service!
Mesmerized by kids or other babies
Chews on anything he can get in his mouth and even things he can't fit! :)
Acts like he is going to crawl and will sometimes scoot but that's about it
Loves stroller rides~ we will miss this during the winter!
Rolling around everywhere
