Is it me or is time going by faster each year!? Is it really 2012? Do I really have a 2 year 10 month old and a 3 month old?? Am I really old enough to have 2 children? Have I really been married for 5 years 6 months? These are just a few things that when I sit back and think about them they just don't seem possible. Time is flying by faster each day and sometimes I feel like I don't have time to sit back and catch my breath and enjoy each moment like I should. It never fails that each time we are in public some lady walks up to me and makes the comment "Oh honey enjoy this time b/c it goes by so fast and you will want them back at this stage again one day. " While I know what she means by that statement I also want to ask her if she remember how hard this stage was as well. I saw this blog post a friend of mine listed and as I read it out loud to Austin we were both dying laughing b/c it was so true and captured my feelings exactly. I have been the mamma with a screaming 2 year old in the buggy at the checkout counter before. I really do try to enjoy each day with my two precious boys to the fullest b/c I know I will want them back young again. So from now on I am going to capture those "Kairos" moments and keep pushing on being the best Christian mother I can be to these two precious boys b/c time really is flying by me!
