favorite sayings...

Landry is talking and saying so much so I wanted to record just a few of my favorite things right now so I don't forget my favorite things. I am so behind on posting pictures but I promise once I stop working and Landry goes back to Tues/Thurs school I will catch up on those. These aren't interesting to anyone but family that doesn't get to hear Landry talk everyday but I had to record a few of my favorites for my own purposes.

"boo cows out barn today?" there are some cows that we pass every time we leave the house and he always wonders if they are out of the barn before we even can see them.

"two baby Cocoa's" Landry named baby #2 "baby Cocoa when I was 8 weeks pregnant and has stuck with that name ever since. The other day he was sitting in my lap and pointed to...well let's just say it wasn't my belly it was just above my belly and said "look mommy two baby Cocoa's!" Of course austin was dying laughing and I tried to not make a big deal about it but he continues to say that all the time now...and will sometimes even proceed to point to the "2 baby Cocoa's" when he is making this statement.

"I cakcle baby Cocoa Mommy"-he does this as he is laying on my stomach in the floor or in bed while we are playing and what he means by "cackle" is tackle. Poor baby Cocoa-I hope he comes out ready to defend himself b/c I think he is going to have to! :)

"I popped up mommy...I go see doctor donney"- we were driving down the road this week and his nose was stopped up so he decided he needed to go see Dr. Denny(who he calls Dr. Donney)-his pediatrician who he loves!

"Tawa Beph"-Landry has learned my name and will periodically call me by it at random times. The other day when he woke up from his nap I hear him yelling "Tawa Beph i get up!"

"Yanyee Autin" this is how Landry pronounces his name and I love hearing him say it!

"daddy come home me"- he will get on the phone with austin while he is at work and ask him to come home to him. This is so sweet but breaks my heart at the same time. He loves his daddy and always wants him to come play with him.

"two burd"-My granny will ask him who he loves and at the top of his lungs he will yell "TWO BURD" which is his way of saying "Sue Byrd"..as you can guess it she taught him this trick! :)

"I go Ray and Sue house- ride bota- see horse"-(he says this the exact same way every time)My austin and uncle Susan and Laray have a Kabota at their house b/c they have quite a bit of property. Their next door neighbor has miniture horses and Landry's favorite thing to do it ride on the kabota to go see the horses.

"I kiss baby Cocoa"-he loves to give the baby kisses throughout the day.

"Mommy what that??" this is his question for just about everything these days rather it's a noise he has heard or a building he has seen or just to fill the empty space of us not talking to him.

"No mommy-Bop it-that's my daddy. Unnertand(understand) me? No no!" This is what he said to me the other night on the way home for church as Austin and I were having a conversation without Landry. I don't think he was too happy about not being the center of attention for those few minutes! Whew! This little boy is going to have a hard time come September!

"oh mommy-that's pwetty!" This was the sweetest thing. I was getting ready one day and being pregnant I just don't feel my "prettiest" but Landry walked in without being prompted and looked at my outfit and said those sweet words to me. It made my day and made me feel "pretty" just thinking my son thought that about me and told me.

"Mommy I gonna pank you because you no talk to me that way"-this happens at least once a day now and the funny thing is he will say it when I haven't even raised my voice at him. Silly boy!
