Landry is growing like a weed. I am totally amazed at how fast is growing. He is going to be 8 weeks old on Tuesday!! I can't believe that! It still seems like I should be in the hospital having him! However on the other hand I don't remember what my life was like before I had him. He is such a joy to Austin and I. His big milestone lately has been "tracking" his fish that go round and round while he is in his swing. He LOVES watching them. I was in the bathroom getting ready the other day and I thought what sounded like him laughing. So of course I go running in the living room not wanting to miss anything he does and sure enough he is laughing at himself while watching the fish. I guess he is
so proud of himself for watching them that he gets tickled at himself. It is precious to watch! I forgot to write last week so to catch up Landry made his first BIG appearance to public last week. "Byrdie" and "Dad-O" got the whole family (all 12 of us) tickets to Cirque du Soleil for Christmas. So we all went out to eat and then went to the show. I will admit I was really nervous at how Landry would do at the show b/c of all the loud music and bright lights. But boy was I wrong. He was a complete angel! He didn't cry one time thoughout the whole show. He was totally enthrawed by the music and lights. In fact he was awake 3/4 of the time(2 hours) and then finally gave up the fight and fell asleep the rest of the time on Aunt Baleighs shoulder. He goes to get his 2 month shots tomorrow- so we will see who cries more- me or him! I am not looking foward to them at all but to look on the bright side I don't think they could be any worse than the IV or spinal tap they did on him in the ER that one night so at least I sorda know what to expect.

It was their fist time to meet Landry. Nora wasn't too sure what to think of him at first due to her being really sleepy b/c of the flight from Wisconsin. Landry and Nora are looking forward to playing together over the next 2 weeks! We are looking forward to hanging with Martha and Nora and will post pictu

res later this week. This is a picture of Nora and Martha meeting Landry for the first time. Nora wasn't sure what to think of him at first but she is slowly warming up to him. Which this might be good practice for her since she has a brother or sister coming in October! :)

We got the idea from Martha and Chris to take a weekly picture of Landry. Here is his 8 week old picture. What's ironic is that we got to take a picture with Nora when she was 8 weeks old and here for her baby shower that I threw for Martha.

He is such a doll baby!!!!! Time really does fly doesnt it! Its so fun when they start developing their little personalities! I will be thinking of you during his shots! Its stinky!
ReplyDeleteGlad ya'll started a blog. You have some excellent pictures. It is great to see Landry grow - enjoy every minute! Hopefully, Nora will warm up soon (this is good practice for her brother or sister on the way). Looking forward to seeing him (and you too :-)).
